Manjushree Research Institute of Ayurvedic Science, Gandhinagar Admission Process

Manjushree Research Institute of Ayurvedic Science (MRIAS), Gandhinagar, which is a well-known institute for professional education in Ayurveda, has received approval from CCIM, thus combining the streams of traditional knowledge of Ayurveda with modern facilities of research. The admission process of the institute is aimed at selecting worthy candidates for the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) course.

MRIAS mostly selects candidates based on their merit list in the NEET examination. NEET is a national-level competitive examination for students seeking admission into Ayurvedic medicine in India. Admission into the BAMS course at MRIAS is only offered to persons who have passed this NEET examination as per the prescribed cutoff. Overall, the selection process of MRIAS aims to be fully merit-based, so as to give the best opportunity to deserving students to build their futures in the field of Ayurvedic education.

There are 100 seats available for the BAMS program in MRIAS. For BAMS entry, eligibility generally must also include the passing of 10+2 with a minimum of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as subjects. In addition to these, there are minimum age criteria and some other conditions laid down by the regulatory bodies of Ayurvedic education that candidates must meet.

Application Process

Application Procedure for admission in the BAMS program at Manjushree Research Institute of Ayurvedic Science Gandhinagar:

  1. NEET Examination: Qualifying in an annual NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) is a must for all aspirants willing to pursue BAMS in India. All candidates shall have to take this test.

  2. NEET Results: The results of the NEET examinations, those who have qualified the examination cut-off will be eligible for the entry into the MRIAS admission procedure.

  3. Application Submission: Eligible candidates should apply through the MRIAS application form.

  4. Document Submission: Applications need to attach certain documents along with the application form such as:

    • NEET score card

    • 10th and 12th standard mark sheets and certificates

    • Birth certificate

    • Category certificate (if applicable)

    • Recent passport-size photographs

    • Any other documents as specified by the institute

  5. Merit List: Based on cut-off scores of NEET and other criteria as set by its admission policy, MRIAS will frame a merit list.

  6. Counselling and Seat Allotment: Candidates qualifying will be called to a counselling process for seat allotment based on merit and availability.

  7. Fee Payment: Once the seat is allotted, candidates should pay the prescribed amount of fees to confirm the admission.

  8. Final Admission: The last stage of confirmation is the successful completion of all these steps with verification of documents.

Degree-wise Admission Process

BAMS
Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) program is eminent course offered at MRIAS. It admits students to this program on the merit scores acquired at NEET. This Bachelor program integrates understanding of Ayurveda principles and practice with clinical experience. The total intake capacity for the BAMS at MRIAS is 100 students. The total fee for the BAMS course is 12,64,500. Cut-off criteria at NEET and educational qualification by the regulatory authorities are specific eligibility criteria.
