Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant shall be an Indian National.
- The applicant should have studied the graduate course (Bachelor's Degree) in an Institution approved by AICTE/ Deemed Universities in India.
- The degree must have been approved by the KTU as equivalent to their B.Tech Degree in Engineering.
- The applicant must have a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in the engineering degree examination. For SC/ST applicants, a pass in the Degree course examination is sufficient. For SEBC (OBC) applicants, a minimum of 54% marks in the Engineering Degree examination is mandatory.
- Applicants who have appeared for the engineering degree final semester examination can also apply for admission provided that they have passed all subjects up to and including the Sixth-semester examination. Confirmation of admission of such applicants will be subject to production of the qualifying Degree certificate and satisfying the above-mentioned conditions as applicable, before the date stipulated by the affiliated University.
Admission Details
- Admission shall normally be restricted to applicants with valid GATE scores. However, this stipulation is relaxed in the case of Sponsored candidates.
- In case seats remain vacant due to a lack of applicants with valid gate scores, candidates from Kerala state without GATE scores will be considered against such vacancies. If seats are still vacant candidates from other states will be considered subject to the normalization process.
- Applicants must have applied offline to the college office after registering on the DTE website.
