RSET Kochi Placements

Every year, RSET placement drives are arranged by the training and placement department of the Rajagiri School of Engineering & Technology. 381 students from RSET UG and PG degrees are placed in various organisations, according to RSET Kochi placement statistics from NIRF 2025.

The RSET placement cell also maintains a strong network with leading companies and invites them for campus placements. The placement cell of RSET organises various activities such as placement training, mock interviews, aptitude tests, resume writing, career guidance, industry interaction and campus recruitment.

The placement data shows the number of students placed and the median salary they received for different RSET Kochi UG and PG courses according to the NIRF 2025 overall report. For B.Tech programmes, the RSET Kochi median salary offered to students is around Rs. 9 LPA. For M.Tech programmes, the median salary is Rs. 5.00 LPA during the placement drive of 2023-24.

RSET Placements Procedure 2025

The placement cell provides career guidance to students to help them understand their career goals and the skills required in the industry.
The placement cell organises various training programmes such as aptitude tests, group discussions, and mock interviews to prepare students for the recruitment process.
The placement cell maintains a strong network with leading companies and invites them for pre-placement talks and campus recruitment.
Companies visit the campus to conduct placement drives which may include written tests, group discussions, and interviews.
Students who clear all rounds of the placement drive are given job offers by the companies.

Placements

Top recruiting companies include MRF, goodrej, Royal Enfield, Bosch. For a mechanical engineer student in RSET unless you have a high CGPA, chances of getting a core job is dim. Even the top recruiting companies do not take any students from the batch sometimes, whereas there is scope in IT companies as they take a lot of students from mechanical.

Companies like open fintech, tata elixi, tcs, IBS other companies come for placement. The highest package offered in our course was 10 Lacs per annum. The average package offered was 3 Lacs per annum. Percentage of students who got into core companies are lesser.

Placements provided in our college are good. Many core companies visit our college to provide job opportunities. Around 90% of computer science students get placements. Every department has minimum placement statics. ECE students can sit for the CS placement drive.

1. Your selection totally depends on your requisites. Usually the factors are placements, fees, infrastructure and college reviews.

considering all these factors, previous year histories says the following scale comparison:

The better option in my opinion:

PLACEMENTS: percentage is high for RSET, Kochi.
RSET offers 10 courses in B.Tech, whereas Christ University offers 6 courses.
Fees compared is lower for RSET.
Infrastructure is better in RSET, kochi.
Faculty Rating is better in Christ University.

Based on the following factors, you can select what is better for you.

which college is good FISAT or RSET?? Considering all factors like fees, placement , ranking etc

Hello,

In between FISAT and RSEt I will always prefer the FISAT first. Doing engineering is always matters a good curriculum in College . Institute should have good placement and career oriented facilities. FISAT provides all these goodies at it's best. It has students curriculum facilities and also good placement.

No doubtly you can go for FISAT.

In case RSET , it is a moderate College but good college though it is not good like FISAT. Placement is also average here but it has good faculties and study oriented programs .

how will the hostel fee varies in Rajagiri School of engineering and technology kochi by sharing rooms?? if we share room with 3 students??

Hello,

if you share with 3 Students then the fees will be reduced by 10-15k INR for eg if your hostel fees is 70k INR the in sharing with 3 students it'll be around 60-55k INR.
