The college is clean and well connected in the sodepur area. Classrooms and labs are basic but functional. The library is decent though there is a lack of proper playground and common hall, overall location and the ambiance are peaceful.
Faculty members are knowledgeable and helpful, especially in science and arts departments. Teaching quality is good and the environment is supportive for first generation learners. Regular class and internal assessment help maintain academic discipline.
The placements cell exists but opportunities are limited. Some students get placed at local companies BPOs. It is better suited for students aiming for higher studies rather than direct campus placement.
Fees are very reasonable as it is a government-aided college. Considering the facilities and education provided. it offers excellent value for money especially for middle class families.
Cultural festivals like charutsav, sports events, amd NSS activities are organised regularly. The campus is peaceful with no raging issues. Students clubs and union are active, though big fest are limited.
Panihati Mahavidyalaya offers good academics and supportive faculty in a calm environment. Value for money is excellent but placement and sports facilities need improvement. Suitable for serious students.
I started my BSc chemistry graduation back in 2017. Pretty good infrastructure including the location and ambiance. But they're were also a lack of playground and a common hall. Except that, overall good.
The chemistry department in which I have studied is best in my opinion. Faculties were highly knowledgeable, cooperative and helpful with their students. One of the best experience is in the lab where I spent most of my graduation days.
Placement is overall good in my opinion. I had multiple opportunities to apply for internships and jobs in various fields during graduation. The good thing is they also provide that option even after being an ex student.
