Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Priyadarshini Polytechnic College, Vellore Offline Course

The candidate who passes the X standard or equivalent examination with Mathematics and science subjects is eligible for admission into a polytechnic college.

Lateral Entry

1. Academic stream: The candidates should have studied maths, physics & chemistry at 10+2

2. Vocational stream: The candidates should have studied either maths or physics, or chemistry at one of the subjects of study, along with the related vocational subject at the 10+2 level

3. Lateral entry into the second year (IIIrd–semester) of the three-year diploma courses, the candidates shall be required to have passed the higher secondary examination of 10+2 pattern. Their intake is restricted to 20% (10% for academic +10% for volitional) of the sanctioned intake of 1-year diploma courses.
