36 MonthsA Diploma in Electrical Engineering is a three-year full-time course offered by the West Bengal State Council of Technical Education, Kolkata, and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
Eligibility Criteria
JEXPO: ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
1. Candidates must be Indian Citizens.
2. Candidates must have passed/appeared Secondary (10th) or its equivalent examination with English, Physical Science/Science, Mathematics, among others, as subjects, securing at least 35% marks (no rounding up) as per AICTE norms, excluding the marks of the subject taken as additional.
3. There is a lower age limit but no upper age limit.
VOCLET: ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
1. Candidates must be Indian Citizens.
2. Candidates must have passed/appeared (10+2) examination conducted by WBSCT&VE&SD (VED) or have passed 2 years ITI after Madhaymik or equivalent examination.
3. There is no age limit
Admission Details
The candidates are admitted through Counselling based on the Merit list of the following exams conducted by the WBSCT&VE&SD:
1. JEXPO -For candidates seeking admission to the 1st year of Diploma Programs.
2. VOCLET - For candidates seeking lateral admission directly to the 2nd year of Diploma Programs.
