Rajmata Shrimati Devendra Kumari Singhdeo Government Medical College, Ambikapur (GMC Ambikapur) is one of the best government medical colleges. The admission cycle at GMC Ambikapur usually opens in the months of May and June for the academic session beginning in August and September. Undergraduate admissions are on the basis of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, NEET-UG, which is usually conducted in May, with results being declared in June. Admissions for the postgraduate program are solely on the basis of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Post Graduate (NEET-PG).
