Rajmata Vijaya Raje Scindia Medical College, Bhilwara Admission Process

Rajmata Vijaya Raje Scindia Medical College, Bhilwara, is a prestigious medical institution. All undergraduate, postgraduate admissions to the college are according to merit basis. RVRS College of Medical Sciences is recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC) and offers a total of three courses under two degree programs. The undergraduate medical admissions in RVRS Medical College depend on the criteria received through a National-level entrance examination which is the NEET-UG. This means that all candidates pursuing MBBS have to pass the examination. The time for admission for NEET-UG would be in February when it opens and May for the examination. Results are released in June, while counseling sessions will be conducted.

NEET Post Graduation is what RVRS uses for admission of postgraduate students in the college. NEET-PG is usually conducted in the month of January while results are always out in February. Postings in Counseling for MD programs begin February through March. Basic eligibility for NEET is that for the MBBS course, the candidate must have cleared the 10+2 examination from any recognized board in which Physics, Chemistry, and Biology are its core subjects. The applicant for MD programs must possess an MBBS degree from a recognized medical institution. Each year, cutoffs and eligibility criteria are specified as per NEET scores and according to government stipulations.

Application Process

The application process differs from program to program when it comes to RVRS Medical College:

For MBBS:

  1. Register and appear in the NEET-UG examination.
  2. The NEET-UG application typically starts in February and runs until the first week of March.
  3. After the results are declared, candidates eligible must register for the stage-wise counseling process at the state level.
  4. Be present for rounds of counseling according to the schedule mentioned by the appropriate governmental authorities.
  5. In case RVRS Medical College is allotted a seat, report to the college for the process of document verification and admission.

For MD programs (Pathology and Microbiology):

  1. Register for the all-India NEET-PG examination.
  2. The NEET-PG application usually opens in September and ends by October the previous year.
  3. Following the declaration of results, register for the counseling process of designated authorities.
  4. Attend rounds of counseling mostly slated in February-March.
  5. If selected to RVRS, finish admission processes by providing documents and fees.

Standard-required documents for admission include:

  • NEET score card
  • 10th and 12th mark sheets and certificates
  • MBBS degree certificate and mark sheets (for MD programs)
  • Valid ID proof
  • Domicile certificate (if applicable)
  • Caste certificate (if applicable)
  • Recent passport-sized photographs
  • Any other college or counseling authorities specified documents

Admission Process by Degree wise

MBBS: The Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) program at RVRS Medical College has an intake capacity of 150 seats. Admission to the MBBS course is solely based on the candidate's performance in the NEET-UG examination. After the declaration of NEET results, qualified candidates must participate in the counseling process conducted by the state authorities.

MD Pathology: 4 seats are allocated to the Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Pathology program at RVRS Medical College. Admission to the above postgraduate courses is done by means of marks obtained in the NEET-PG. Eligible candidates may participate in the counseling process for seat allotment against the qualifying NEET-PG.

MD Microbiology: Just as MD Pathology, four places are allocated in this college for MD Microbiology. Similarly, the process for this program is also based on NEET-PG, which will be accompanied by counseling. However, candidates are expected to have completed their MBBS to qualify for taking this course.

different college has different fee structure for the candidates who wants to go for direct admission through management quota. In management quota there is no cutoff for categories. Some renouned and recognized college keeps some screening test and they select using the 12th and 10th qualifications.

If you want to join then you have to personally visit the campus and talk to the admission section and ask for details and procedure for admission. They are the right and authorized person to give you details.
