St. Joseph's College Devagiri has three blocks as of now: One for the aided students and faculty and two for the self-financing students and faculty. The campus is spacious and well-maintained and the academic blocks are well-planned and have good amenities such as projectors. As a literature student, I found the curriculum to be quite well-rounded, however, not as much as I'd have liked. While most of the professors used traditional methods of teaching through oral lectures, others incorporated more interactive techniques of teaching and also used digital resources.

For literature students like myself, placement options were limited. However, for students from other programs like B.com, placement opportunities we're provided to companies like Amazon, Wipro etc with decent salary packages.

Honestly our college does a pretty decent job when it comes to infrastructure and basic facilities Classrooms are modern enough we have got smart boards and projectors in most of them WiFi works well across the campus Labs are solid all required equipment is there and they are usually in a good condition The library is honestly one of my favorite spots It's quiet full of useful books and has computers For sports we have got a pretty active setup cricket football basketball badminton table tennis Hostel life is okay Rooms are clean enough and they do try to maintain hygiene washrooms are cleaned regularly and Overall space is comfortable All in one the College has what we need Things work and are maintained and if anything breaks down it's usually fixed quickly

I am currently pursuing BBA I have always been interested in business It felt like a right choice for both passion and career opportunities The quality of teaching here is amazing Most of our professors are knowledgeable and experienced in their field and guide us throughout the session If you attend classes and ask questions they are quite helpful and supportive As for the curriculum it's fairly updated according to industry standards In terms of job the course is help us build a solid foundation Along with the theory we get practical lab sessions and projects work which improve our hands on skills However to be fully job ready we also need to put in extra efforts on our own like doing internships and learning new tools In short the course is good and relevant

The placement quality at our college has been quite decent especially for students in professional courses Around 70 to 80 percent of students from our pervious batch got placed through campus recruitment Most of the big companies visit the campus along with some mid level startups The highest package offered was around 12 LPA On the other hand the average salary ranged between 4 to 5 LPA depending on the department and skillset The placement process was fairly smooth and student friendly From pre placement talks to interviews and HR rounds everything was well organized Faculty and placement cell guided us well they help with resume conduct training sessions for aptitude test and kept us informed about all company visit

Campus life is outstanding here as the campus is very big around 650 acres.It is a lush green campus with a lot of trees and ponds in the campus area.The weather of silchar is also very pleasant most of the time.Its location is completely safe.The worst thing of this college is issue of connectivity as there are no direct flights/trains to silchar from big cities and that's a issue.
