The college is not as big as other colleges in Mumbai and DU in Delhi, bit the basic amenities are made available in the college. The classes are well-maintained with a proper structure and the canteen has affordable food. The library has a remarkable collection of books and the labs have all necessary apparatus. There is no ground in the campus except a building and the WiFi service, though provided, does not have sound connectivity.
Academics
The teachers are highly supportive and experienced. I am pursuing B.Tech in CS which has a proper course structure and is well updated equivalent to all the skills required in the corporate sector, and hence making the course job-ready. The teachers conduct smooth internal processes but there is strict attendance issue.
Placements
About 80% of the students are placed every year from the college, which is a phenomenal achievement. The highest package was nearly 12 lacs p.a, with the average package ranging between 5-6 lacs p/a, which is good for a fresh pass out. There is an active placement cell operational in the college responsible for inviting the top companies in the college.
Campus Life
The campus life is amazing with the location being in one of the most developed parts of Mumbai, with places round to hang out. The teachers are supportive and the staff is cooperative. There are various activities and societies in the college like music, dance and drama. Besides, there are educational societies and others like MUN society. There is medical room to handle the emergencies effectively.

Academics, I would say, are of good quality. Our teachers are very supportive and qualified. Teachers are experienced some with even more than 30 years of experience. Our curriculum is updated and teachers teach according to recent developments in the field. We also have personality development programs which are job oriented and helps us a lot in getting good placements.

Placements are good. Students get placed well with good packages after graduation as well as post graduation. Frankly speaking, Carmel students are preferred due to our job oriented approach. We also get part time job options from first year onwards to meet our expenses.

The faculties are quite difficult to deal with. They aren't available when we need them. However, some of the teachers are very helpful and kind. The syllabus is usually 80% completed by the teachers and the rest is to be prepared by us on our own.

The placement is quite poor. Nevertheless, in 2019-20 batch of final year students, good placement companies like reliance, torrecid and Linde did recruitment. Yet, none of the students have been placed as of today (4 months approx are left for the final semester to end).

Placements are at it's peak in NITC. Every Student gets placed from our college. There will be 100% placements for CSE without any percentage cutoff and for remaining courses there would be cutoff. This year till now the highest package is 40,00,000 and it owned by CSE student. Average salary will be 8,00,000. Quality of placement is not very good for mechanical engineering in our college. Highest salary for mechanical student in our college was around 4-5 lakhs. Altough overall highest pakage of our college was 10 lakhs rupees. I have till now not appeared for any placement.

VIT have a great infrastructure. This college have great classroom equipped with AV and air conditioner. You will never feel uncomfortable in the classroom, libraries are good, wifi speed is little bit low, but it's not a big problem. College have den so, any student can go there and play games. It also have play station but now I guess it's not working properly. Canteen food is not put to the mark, but some of the fastfood is so delicious.

As, I'm in FE staff are quite supportive and teaching is great. I had never faced any difficulty up till now. I can't say anything about 2nd or upper years. Teachers make sure that students should understand properly.

I'm in FE so I don't know anything much, but some seniors says that, college have good placement in IT companies. But not up to the mark for core companies. Even core students gets placed in IT companies, college should work for core companies recruitment.
