Overall infrastructure was good but the drinking water facility was very poor it has big ground and good parking facility evrything except drinking water is fine there are different blocks for diff courses

The academic curriculum for mathematics is highly updated and aligns well with current syllabus of North bengal university.We are taught core concepts like Real analysis,complex analysis and many mathematics subjects from early semesters.The evaluation system can feel rigid, and the heavy focus on 75% attendance leaves very little time for self-study or competitive program.

For the placement and job part, this college only provides degree for specific UG course and does not give any opportunity for jobs, placement, internship etc. So this is the point which should be improved in future.

Since it is an old university, not all classrooms are equipped with mordern facilities but there are certain classrooms which are fully mordernised with smart boards and fully functional speakers and microphone which helps in visual learning. Yes the college provides placements. There is a separate placement cell. I’d say roughly 30 percent gets placed because most students are studious and opt for higher studies like Phd. Some prepare for exams like GATE etc.

Honestly I’d say there is very less of a campus life because it is more focussed on education and mostly education. So there are a lot and frequent educational seminars but less of a fun and enjoyable events. Of course it’s not nil but can do much better.

Most peaceful and spiritual environment. It is a fully residential college so it is away from all the hustle bustle of the outside world and offers the best environment for studies. Each classroom is equipped with a projector and a white board. There are multiple computer labs. Gym is also there. However the top floor in the hostel can get really hot during summers.

Best of best teachers. They are so dedicated and helpful. The curriculum is top notch. It is at par with the top tier universities in the country. Many students from our university has cleared GATE, NET exams with AIR below 50.

In the recent years campus recruitments especially for the MBA and Post Graduation students have improved a lot. The alumni connections are quite strong. For MBA about 90 percent students get placed.

One of the best experiences of my life. Fully residential so real connections are formed. There is a fixed routine for all the activities starting from morning 5:30 AM to 10:30 PM at night. There are cultural events and competitions and there are sports competitions. Every year from 11th January - 15th January there is Annual Sports and Cultural Meet and we have the best of time. Only feature phones allowed so we are much connected to the present than on digital screen.

The college infrastructure is very good. Green campus. Peaceful campus. It is very big with many many departments . However the condition of the departments needs a lot of maintenance and modernisation. Although each department has a virtual classroom and a seminar room but still the overall infrastructure needs quite a bit of an improvement. So many computers in computer labs of our department aren’t working. Basically a department is equipped with everything but there is no maintenance at all. There is a library for the whole university which is quite modern.

Well the academics are average. But the teachers are quite good. They teach very well. There are ample teachers for each subject. For Mathematics there is a balance in Applied and Pure Mathematics and one can opt for either in the 3rd semester.

If one is doing a regular or academic course there are no placements available. They did conduct one seminar on industry related courses and what could we opt for next but no placements in general. However they do provide placements for professional courses like MBA.

Depends. Events are organised. On even semesters the inter department sports events occur back to back like badminton, marathons, chess, cricket(the most awaited UPL) etc. The university organises Freshers and Farewell annually which is quite a fun event.

The Infrastructure is so mid. The buildings are old. The hostel food is so bad. they're literally forcing day-scholars to pay fee for breakfast in college mess even though there's no such rules.
