Sai Ayurveda Medical College and Research Institute, Aurangabad, is a private institution affiliated with the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik. The admission process at Sai Ayurveda Medical College is strictly on merit and is systematically conducted so that deserving candidates can be selected.
Admission into the BAMS programs is mainly through the NEET UG examination. The NEET is considered a national entrance test conducted every year for the purpose of carrying out admissions for various medical courses in India, including Ayurveda. BAMS:
BAMS refers to a six-year full-time course, inclusive of one-year compulsory internship at Sai Ayurveda Medical College and Research Institute. Under this program, the intake is sixty per year. Admission to the BAMS program takes place on the basis of the merit list prepared from the NEET UG score of the candidate and subsequent counseling process. The entire curriculum has been framed to provide for a strong foundation in Ayurvedic principles and practices leading into a career in Ayurvedic medicine.
