Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) is a two-year full-time postgraduate diploma course offered by the University of Mumbai, Mumbai and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)

PGDM is a Two-Year Full-Time Program, Approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Recognized by Directorate of Maharashtra (DTE), Government of Maharashtra.
PGDM program offered by SASMIRA’s Business School (SBS) is a unique program offering functional Specialization with sectorial exposure with emphasis on developing transformational leadership among the students. The PGDM program at SBS emphasizes on practice-based and experiential learning. This course is conducted on a semester basis with four semesters spread across two academic years.
Learning by Doing and Experiential Learning are the two guiding principles of pedagogy in SBS. PGDM program encompasses a broad range of learning techniques including case studies, simulations, real life projects, debates and discussions with senior executives of organizations, summer internship projects, industrial visits, seminars, guest and expert lectures, short term courses, workshops and many more.

All the subjects for the first-year study (first two semesters) are mandatory. For the second year the candidate has to choose any one major and one minor specialization from the following group:

Marketing Management

The focus is to impart knowledge about latest marketing trends to the students and equip them to take on leadership roles in an increasingly complex and dynamic scenario.

Finance Management

The focus here is to nurture the future business leaders through transformative and innovative education.

Human Resource Management

The course content and curricula are inspired by best management practices with a strong fundamental framework towards emerging management issues

Business Analytics:

With the emerging importance of business analytics, the talent to extracting insights is becoming a need for the managers. The program aims at using analytical tools and techniques to identify patterns, develop business strategies and make sound management decisions.

Eligibility Criteria

All applicants should possess a Bachelors degree in any discipline from a recognized institution. Freshers as well as experienced candidates are eligible to apply for PDGM Program.
Graduate in any discipline with minimum 50% aggregate from any University, recognized by Association of Indian Universities (AIU)/AICTE, are eligible for post graduate studies in management. Candidates should be Graduate of minimum three years duration in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU)/AICTE, with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of candidates of backward class categories and persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra State only). They may also possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India.
Candidates who are appearing for the final year examination of any Bachelor’s degree of minimum three years duration in any discipline recognized by the AIU can also apply. Such candidates can apply for provisional admission subject to passing the Degree examination with the percentage of marks mentioned above, submitting the same immediately on declaration of the result, failing which their admission will be cancelled as per the rules.
