Candidates who passed the Common Entrance Test organised by the Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra, for PGDM are eligible. All seats are filled through the 15% All India Quota using scores from the CMAT/ MAT/ ATMA exams. The minimum qualification for admission to the PGDM programme at SBS is a bachelor's degree from any recognised university.

Sasmira Business School PGDM Admission Process 

The flagship management programme that is offered at Sasmira's Business School is the Post Graduate Diploma in Management. The process of admission for PGDM includes the following process:

• Candidates are eligible to appear for any of the entrance tests accepted, which are as follows: CAT/ MAH MBA CET/ XAT/ CMAT/ ATMA/ MAT.
• In respect of 85% of seats, the seat shall be given to students who have already appeared for the DTE, Maharashtra, conducted MAH-MBA/MMS-CET.
• Balance 15% of seats or All India Quota shall be filled based on the scores in CMAT/ MAT/ ATMA.
• Once the short list is prepared, then further rounds may be conducted at the level of group discussions, and personal interviews with the chosen candidates.

Note: As the approved intake size for Sasmira's Business School for PGDM is 120 students, there is good competition for one who wants to take up the opportunity of becoming a management professional.

• Candidates fulfilling the minimum laid down qualifications will have to undertake Ph.D. Entrance test conducted by the University.
  
  
• Successful candidates will be called for a personal interview.
  
  
• Candidates who have qualified in GATE/NET/ SLET/ UGC/ CSIR (JRF) examination will be exempted from the University entrance test; however, they will have to appear for a personal interview.
  
  
• Selected candidates will be informed and have to complete the admission process within 7 working days.
