SSCBS Delhi All Questions

Given the previous year cut off your chances of getting into one of the college of DU for BMS or BFIA is very less since cut offs are high for both the courses. You may get a chance in the vacant seats notifications at Ramanujan College but not in the top colleges.

Considering the previous year cut off marks and your percentage which is really good,  You will definitely be shortlisted for interview and from thereon you can expect allotment at SSCB. You can get into both the programmes offered by SSCB. Wish you all the very best.

I assume you are aspecting 280 marks. The DU JAT is 65% whereas 12th marks carry over 35%. And when it comes to admission. I would suggest you to wait as till now the results haven't been released yet and on July 20 DU will announce the entrance exam merit list.

See If you want to get into SSCBS for pursuying BMS and BBA . Minimum eligibility is that you should have done 10+2 from any recognised board. After that you will have to give JAT exam. Your performance will matter. After exam , Group discussions and personal interview round is completed. After that those who are selected are admitted. 

Now JAT doesn't have full weightage . Actually All the processes are considered. You have 50% JAT score, 30% 12th score and 10-10 % from G.D. and personal interview. English and mathemtaics are compulsory.

The Shaheed Sukhdev college of Business studies that come under the Delhi University published it's first cut-off list on June 18, 2018.

The cut-off fir various categories was as follows-

Unreserved- 94%

OBC- 92.5%

SC- 86%

ST- 82%

PWD- 87%

KM- 93%

The cut-off list for 2019 is not out yet, keep checking the website.

You can not pursue B.Tech from SSCBS in 2019 because B.Tech was launched under FYUP ( Four Year Undergraduate Program) which apparently got rolled back.

Therefore, Admission in B.Tech course is not possible in SSCBS DU.

But , A good news for you is that if you are interested in Computer Science , then You can pursue Bsc ( computer science) which is the sole course for science students in SSCBS.

It also offers courses like BBS, BMS & BBA(FIA).

If you want to opt any of the given courses from this college , you got to appear for an entrance conducted by delhi university called DU JAT.

DU JAT is a national level test conducted for admission in BMS, BBA(FIA) etc which happens in the month of June.

you have got a decent score in your 12th standard to meet the basic criteria to get eligible for DU JAT. That's  to get above 60 percent in the board and also MATHS and English as compulsory subjects in best of 4 subjects.

If you are from OBC category then you have to get your rank at least under 2500  through DU JAT to get shortlisted for Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies, Delhi

If you fail in maths and thereafter, even if you clear the mathematics exam in the Compartment, It won't be of any use as the DU application and admission process would be halfway or almost completed till the time your results are announced.

Thereafter, You can make a fresh application for DUJAT next year.
