Shree Swaminarayan Homeopathic College, Kalol Admission 2025: Dates, Application Form, Courses, Fees & Eligibility

Shree Swaminarayan Homeopathic College, Kalol, located in Saij, Kalol, on the Ahmedabad-Mehsana Highway in Gujarat. The college offers a Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) programme. It features relatively simple but merit-based admission criteria so that interested and already trained candidates could opt for homeopathy.

As such, the college admits students through the National-level Entrance Examination. In order to access the BHMS course, students have to write the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) examination, which is based on a stipulated score the student should achieve to qualify for the programme. This exam serves as a yardstick to measure the understanding of sciences and ability for medical education among students.

The academic sessions are usually held in August-September, with admissions commencing a few months prior to that. Students who qualify for the NEET and have the required cutoff will be able to proceed into this college. The college has been sanctioned an admission intake of 100 students in the BHMS course.

Application Process

For admission into BHMS, the following are required:

1. NEET Qualification: The candidate has to appear for and qualify in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

2. Information Announcement: After the NEET results are declared, candidates will apply for admission following the directives from the admission authority of the state homeopathy colleges.

• Category certificate (for reserved category candidates)

4. The names of candidates would be prepared on merit based on the NEET score and other criteria as per the state admission rules.

5. Counseling and seat allotment to candidates would be on merit and preference.

6. Payment of confirmation fees will be required by selected students upon confirmation of their seats. The total cost for the program is approximately Rs. 5,17,500.

Degree-wise Admission Process

BHMS (Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery):
The BHMS is a comprehensive six-year program, including internships, providing students with theoretical and practical know-how in homeopathic medicine. Admission will be based on performance in NEET.

Eligibility criteria for BHMS

• A candidate must pass the 10 + 2 or equivalent test with PCB subjects.

• The candidate must score at least 50% aggregate in PCB for general category admissions; for reserved categories, relaxation is given as prescribed.

• Must have a valid NEET scorecard.

The college has well-designed laboratories, a large library of more than 2,600 books on homeopathy and associated subjects, and supporting practical training with a digital library section for academic training.
