Shri Hingulambika Education Trust Ayurvedic Medical College, Gulbarga is a recognized institute in the field of Ayurvedic education. The institute offers a Bachelor's in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) program, and it has been certified by the Central Council for Indian Medicine (CCIM). Thus, admission to Shri Hingulambika Education Trust Ayurvedic Medical College shall be mainly through the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), which serves as the only pathway for aspiring students for admission into the BAMS program
Eligibility Criteria for Admission to BAMS Course: Candidate pursuing admission should have qualified 10+2 or equivalent examination securing the core subjects as Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. He/She should fulfill minimum age limit & other criteria as specified. Candidate should qualify NEET as the choice is purely merit-based in NEET examination.
Application Procedures
The following steps would be the procedure to apply and gain admission into Shri Hingulambika Education Trust Ayurvedic Medical College:
1. Registering for NEET: A student wishes to become a student at a medical college, must register and take the NEET, which will be given under the authority of the National Testing Agency.
2. NEET qualification: Should meet the cut-off in NEET examination as prescribed by the regulating authority.
3. Register for counseling: On declaration of NEET results, a qualified candidate has to register with the category appropriating that for state-level or All India counselling process.

Degree Wise Admission Process
BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery):
The BAMS course at Shri Hingulambika Education Trust Ayurvedic Medical College is a six-year program which provides complete detailed integration of the study of Ayurvedic medicine and surgery. Admission for the BAMS program depends solely on the performance of the candidate in the NEET exam. The college has a sanctioned intake of 60 seats for the BAMS course. Eligibility criteria require that a candidate should have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology together as one of the main subjects and should have qualified the NEET examination.
