• Candidates seeking admission to the first year of the 3-year diploma need to have secured a pass in SSLC (10 years of schooling). 

Lateral Entry

• Academic Stream candidates should have studied Maths, Physics, Chemistry & Biology/Computer Science(Mathematics group), and Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology(Science group) at 10 +2 level
• Vocational Stream candidates should have studied either Maths or Physics Chemistry as one of the subjects of study along with the related Vocational Subject (Theory and practical) at 10 + 2 level
• SSLC with 2 years ITI is also eligible for lateral entry admission
