The admissions into the certificate course, Post Basic Diploma in Cardiothoracic Nursing, of the institution is based on the selection criteria of the college. In order to provide a fair chance to all, a college keeps its own entrance examination, the merit of which decides the admission. Students must check the colleges’ official website for more information. Before registering and applying for the programme, a candidate must match the eligibility criteria. The candidate who has a provisional certificate for B.Sc (Nursing)/B.Sc (Nursing)/ GNM, with one year of experience as a staff nurse, is eligible for applying for the diploma course. It is a 1-year, full-time diploma. For the B.Sc admission 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology is the basic eligibility condition.

The application fee of Rs. 1000 per course can be paid by DD, in favour of the Director, SJICSR
Each candidate selected for admission will have to pay the fees within the prescribed time, failing which their admission will be cancelled.
No individual intimation will be sent to the candidates who are selected.
The eligible candidates for various courses will be displayed on the institute’s website and they shall appear for document verification on the dates mentioned.
The admissions into the PG courses is done through the National Eligibility cum Entrance examination Super speciality (NEET SS). For appearing in NEET SS, aspirants are required to hold a postgraduate degree (MD/MS/DNB) or any equivalent examination. Applicants must have a provisional or permanent registration certificate issued by the State Medical Council (SMC) or Medical Council of India (MCI). Only those candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria can fill the NEET SS application form in five steps mentioned below.

The applicant needs to pay the application fees of Rs. 4250 irrespective of all categories in online mode through credit/debit cards and net banking. The counselling of NEET SS will be conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) . After the NEET SS counselling registration process for each round, aspirants will need to provide their preferences of colleges as well as specialisations into which they wish to take admission. On the basis of these preferences, NEET SS rank, seat availability, reservation criteria and other factors, the seat allotment of NEET SS is done. Once the seats are allotted, shortlisted candidates will need to report at the respective college for completion of the admission process and document verification.
The admission to the fellowship programme of the institute is given on the basis of the entrance examination conducted by the SJICSR. Before applying for admissions, a candidate must meet the eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria differs from specialisation to specialisation.
