Diploma in Electronics and Communication Engineering is a three-year full-time course offered by Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

Admission to Direct Second Year (Lateral Entry) - H.Sc (Academic) with Maths, Physics & Chemistry by Higher Secondary Schools in TamilNadu affiliated to the Tamilnadu Higher Secondary Board with eligibility for university courses of study or equivalent examination, H.Sc (Vocational) with Maths / Physics / Chemistry/ Related Vocational Subjects Theory & Practical by Higher Secondary Schools in Tamilnadu affiliated to the Tamilnadu Higher Secondary Board with eligibility for university courses of study or equivalent examination, 10th Std with 2years ITI by NCVT Certificate.
