SSMCE Baramulla B.Tech Admission Process
Fill out the online application form available on the official college website with all the relevant personal details and necessary documents.
The selection of candidates will be done by the Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BoPEE).
Students will have to appear in JKCET and submit their valid scores during the application process.
Only those candidates will be invited for counselling rounds whose names are in the selection list of BoPEE.
Students are expected to attend counselling rounds for document verification and completing any remaining steps.
Candidates must complete the admissions process by paying the admission fees to the college.

Academics
The college has various academic programs be it mangament technology or engineering. The teachers have great knowledge and are always ready to help they create a positive work environment
However there could be more opportunities and better industry connection to prepare students .
College Infra
SSM College in Baramulla has good facilities including well equipped labs large classroom a library and sports facilities . However campus could benefit from better maintenance and updated equipment .
Campus Life
Campus life at SSM College in baramulla. Is lively and fun . Students enjoys sports , cultural events , and clubs . The atmosphere is friendly and supportive . However more activities and better facilities could make it even better .
Placements
Overall the placement rate is good but it could have improved .the college organizes placement drives and has ties with local companies, but more efforts are needed to attract larger and more diverse recruiters .
Value For Money
The fees are affordable in the college and the education and facilities are good. However better things could have been done in terms of infrastructure placements and industry connections would have been a better investment.

Academics
I was in Mechanical Engineering and i had intrest in that. The quality of teaching is tremendous every staff member is so hardworking and professional and because of them we have learned so much and gained so much knowledge.
College Infra
Our college has a very good infrastructure wether it is about departments , libraries, hostels , open air theatre , admistration section, everything is awsome all are well maintained . The capus is clean an hygenic.
Campus Life
Our college camps is the best and apart from good eduction our capus has best class rooms with good ventilation. Students also take part in other activities like sports, music, events etc.
Placements
The quality of placements at our colleges are god Hundreds of students has got pleaced with high package salaries. Around 60% of students gets place per year. He highest salary package offered is approximately 5L-6L per annum.
Value For Money
It costed me around 30k per year including transportation and it was worth spending money there.

Academics
In academics, it’s kind of okay’ish. The staff is good and curriculum remains almost updated, but not fully. Sometimes we have restricted subjects to choose in our last semesters. And the students have to work hard and make sure they complete their syllabus themselves before the semesters ends if not completed by the teachers.
College Infra
Our college is good in terms of infrastructure. Well equipped labs, hygienic washrooms, good libraries, hostels, nice cafes, etc.
The classrooms are big and well maintained. Also we have a dispensary in case of Some medical energy.
Campus Life
Campus life is good. The environment overall is good. It’s safe and calm. We take participation in all kind of drives, events, seminars, fests, sports activities throughout the year.
Placements
Placements are very poor, next to null in our college campus. Our college did organise some kind of placement drive in our last semester but that was of no use, there were some local companies and the job offered wasn’t technical.
Value For Money
In terms of yearly fees, they charge good and it’s acceptable. But our college in addition to that also charges many additional charges throughout the year for silly things which totally seems to be of no logic.
