Diploma in Mechanical Engineering at The Karur Polytechnic College, Karur Offline Course

Minimum Qualification: Pass in 10th Standard (SSLC) from a recognized board.
Age Limit: No upper age limit.
Medium of Instruction: English / Tamil.
Applicable for: All seven diploma courses (Mechanical, EEE, CSE, ECE, Auto, Biomedical, Civil). 

Lateral Entry (Direct Admission to Second Year) – 2 Years Duration 

Eligible candidates can gain direct entry into the second year of diploma courses under the following qualifications:

Pass in HSC (12th Grade) – Any group (Science, Commerce, Vocational).
OR Pass in ITI (2 Years) – In any trade from a recognized institute.
Lateral Entry Stream: Applied to the same course domain or related fields based on DOTE guidelines.
