Master of Science (M.Sc) Self Finance in Botany is a two-year full-time postgraduate Course offered by The New College, Chennai and affiliated to University of Madras, Chennai.

The aim of this course is to develop holistic knowledge of plants through the study of the diversity of plants. The program will equip the students with skills required for higher studies and jobs in Forestry, Horticulture, Genetics, and Biotechnology.


Eligibility Criteria

A candidate who has passed Bachelor Degree in Biology/Botany/Zoology/ Biotechnology/ Micro Biology/ Chemistry/Biochemistry/Physics/Agriculture/BE–B.Tech  Biotech / BVSC/ MBBS/BDS or any other degree accepted as equivalent thereto by the University of Madras.
