Hi,

In VJTI Mumbai, there are diploma courses in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, electronics engineering, civil & environmental engineering, textile manufactures and technical chemistry with 60 seats each.  The admissions are based purely on merit basis through online centralised admission process.

The admission is through MHT CET rank. Each branch has different cut off ranks. As you have not specified the branch of your wish, I can give you the 2018 cut off for some branches.

Civil engineering - rank: 2466 mark: 148

Computer engineering - rank: 130 mark: 178

Electrical engineering - rank: 1469 mark: 156

Electronics and communication engineering - rank: 968 mark: 162

So basically you need around 75-85 % marks in MHT CET to acquire admission in VJTI.  You can use MHTCET college predictor tool for a further understanding.

Greetings aspirant!

Admission into VJIT is based on MHT-CET and not on higher secondary marks. Though their is an eligibility requirement which demand atleast 50% aggregate in 12th for general category and 40% for reserved category. Also note, that jee score will not help you get admission into VJIT because admission is solely based on scores obtained in MHT-CET. A score of atleast 160/200 or above is must have if you want to secure a seat in this college.

Hello Aspirant,

Every year COEP, PICT and VJTI were giving admission on the basis pf MHT - CET score and rank , but due to the covid 19 pandemic situation the MHT -CET exam is on hold and decisions are made to conduct the exams soon . The exam won't be cancelled so for admission to engineering colleges in Maharastra  you will have to attempt the MHT-CET exam and score good marks to get admitted in COEP/VJTI/PICT.

Don't worry and continue you studies, Practice you have a lot of time to crack the exam.

Thank you

To get into the college VJTI mumbai for admission in a good branch you need to score above 158 for general category, 121 for the sc category and 143 marks for the obc category. The admission is completely depended on your GATE score so your GATE score should be good.

Clean and Green College

College Infrastructure

The classrooms are decent enough, with wooden benches, projector and AC's. Wi-Fi works in some classes and doesn't in others. The library is too good. It has all the books that you will ever need. It even has good Wi-Fi. You can be in the library for a whole day without feeling bored. The mess has okayish food—not that great. The canteen has better food than the mess. There's a cricket ground, a football ground and a basketball court as well, which is really good.

Academics are Good

Verified Review

College Infrastructure

College has a very good infrastructure, however, the infrastructure is now old and there are efforts being put to renovate the college. Labs are a bit outdated, but the college is bringing in new facilities. The hostels are also undergoing changes and the new PG hostel has super good facilities.
