Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering is a four-year full-time course offered by Anna University, Chennai and approved by All India Council for Technical Education.
Lateral Entry Course Fees: Rs. 1,55,000.
The admission shall be on the basis of TNEA entrance exam.
Minimum educational qualification should be 10+2 and should possess minimum 50% of a mark in his/her studies as per the norms of Anna University. Candidates should have studied mathematics as one of the subjects in their Higher Secondary level.
SC / SCA / ST Candidates who have secured 35% to below 40% aggregate in the relevant subjects may also apply. The consideration of their applications will be subject to the outcome of SLP preferred by the Tamil Nadu Government against the judgment of Madras High Court in W.A. No. 1794/12 dated 17.4.2013.
For Lateral Entry:
A Pass with Minimum average marks in Relevant Subjects as applicable (HSC – Academic or Vocation).
*Mere pass in the qualifying examination for Diploma examinations as stipulated by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Tamil Nadu / B.Sc. Degree examinations / Equivalent.
