      Veterinary College, Shimoga Admission Process

Veterinary College, Shimoga (VC Shimoga) is an incumbent and prestigious institution to educate and train people in the field of veterinary science and animal husbandry within the ambit of providing quality education. Also, it has been under the aegis of the Indian Council for Agricultural Research (ICAR) by passing many stringent, merit-based admission criteria to all such programmes. Advisedly, the VC Shimoga admissions begin every year anytime from August to September, which is usually the time at which the academic calendar commences. Particularly, such dates change concerning each specific year, but it is best that students prepare several months in advance for VC Shimoga admissions preparation, especially the competitive entrance exams.

Thus, VC Shimoga admission to Bachelors programmes is mainly based on the performance of successful candidates in the common entrance test organised by the Government of Karnataka, mostly in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, as 50% of weight given to the M.B.V.Sc and AH programme will be from the entrance test conducted by Government of Karnataka. As far as merit goes, VC Shimoga admissions are put forth for postgraduate degrees; qualifying set criteria differ with respect to each specific M.V.Sc programme. With an extensive list of M.V.Sc specialisations, VC Shimoga is home to all the eligibility criteria and selection checks in case of admission for each of them.
