Veterinary College, Shimoga Admission Process

Veterinary College, Shimoga (VC Shimoga) is an incumbent and prestigious institution to educate and train people in the field of veterinary science and animal husbandry within the ambit of providing quality education. Also, it has been under the aegis of the Indian Council for Agricultural Research (ICAR) by passing many stringent, merit-based admission criteria to all such programs. Advisedly, the admissions begin every year anytime from August to September, which is usually the time at which the academic calendar commences. Particularly, such dates change concerning each specific year, but it is best that students prepare several months in advance for admissions preparation, especially the competitive entrance exams.

Thus, admission to Bachelors programs is mainly based on the performance of successful candidates in the common entrance test organized by the Government of Karnataka, mostly in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, as 50% of weight given to the M.B.V.Sc and AH program will be from the entrance test conducted by Government of Karnataka. As far as merit goes, admissions in VC Shimoga are put forth for postgraduate degrees; qualifying set criteria differ with respect to each specific M.V.Sc program. B.V.Sc and AH (Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry): This flagship undergraduate course will be offered by VC Shimoga.   10. Veterinary Parasitology and Veterinary Physiology
  11. Biochemistry

The veterinary seats are given through neet since 2017 . The minimum marks you need to score is 500 and above for getting a good college. The last year analysis shows that the vet closing rank was 519 marks.

It keeps on changing every year, it mainly depends on the total number of repeaters and the total number of fresh candidates in that particular year. But for instance i would tell that the minimum marks you require is around 120 - 130 out of 180 and since you are a general merit student so you have to get at least 125 .
