The Vidhyadeep Institute of Physiotherapy, Surat, is a component college established to impart high-quality learning in Physiotherapy. Admission in the college will be carried through a centralized process that has been formed by the Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Courses (ACPUGMEC), Gandhinagar.

1. Notification: Admission announcement against physiotherapy courses released by ACPUGMEC for different colleges would include Vidhyadeep Institute.

Degree-wise Admission Process

BPT (Bachelor of Physiotherapy): This is a 4.5-year degree course with 6 months' internship included. They will be undertaken through the central process undertaken by ACPUGMEC. The course is permitted to admit 100 students. Eligibility criteria generally include the passing of 10+2 with compulsory subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

MPT (Master of Physiotherapy): Vidhyadeep Institute offers three specializations at the postgraduate level:

• MPT Orthopaedics

• MPT Neurological Science

• MPT Cardio Respiratory Science

These are usually programs of two years. however, candidates are usually expected to have completed their degree in BPT from a recognized university. Admission may be based on the undergraduate performances of the candidate and/or entrance examination facilitated by the state or institute.
