The main entry pathway for admission to YIDSR is through the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET), which is the common admission test for dental courses throughout India. The students must pass NEET and satisfy the eligibility criteria designed by the institute for admission.

Degree wise Admission Process

BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery): YIDSR has a 5-year full-time BDS course, which is its mainstay course. The college has a sanctioned intake of 100 students in this course. Admission to the BDS course is merit-based in the NEET exam. The integrated curriculum is designed according to DCI norms and includes extensive practical training in the well-equipped Central Dental OPD of the college, where 150 patients are treated daily for different dental conditions.
