With a modest beginning in 1992 as a college library, it has evolved and transformed into a University library in letter and spirit in the year 2008. Currently, the library milieu in Yenepoya (Deemed to be University) includes the central library and the libraries by the constituent units, departments, and centers. The central library is located in a standalone air-conditioned building and it is the central hub of information. It has networking as well as resource-sharing capabilities to cater to the learning needs of the students, researchers, and faculty The library resources include books, journals, e-resources, and ancient scripts. It provides off-campus access 24*7 to a wide range of e-books, e-journals, and online databases, through the MyLoft remote access tool. Yenepoya (Deemed to be University) library is a member of the National Cancer Grid Consortium of e-resources and DELNET resource sharing network in addition to the HELINET consortium of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science, Bangalore. All the operations in the library are computerized with an Integrated Library Management System (ILMS) and a biometric access control system is available to monitor the users of the library.
