With 140 marks there are chances for you to get admission in the main campus colleges of au. Since you belong to OBC category you might get them not by the first but may be till the second conscelling. Keep checking the details and information regarding the counselling dates of au.

Based on your rank, there are high chances of you getting a seat in Andhra University, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University - [JNTU], Kakinada and Sri Venkateswara University - [SVU], Tirupati as you qualify the expected cutoff for all three colleges. All the three colleges are one of the best colleges of Andhra and are very good with minor difference. However, the best among the three will be JNTUK, followed by SVU and then AU, based on the reputation and alumni base of the college.

Allahabad University 2018 Cutoff Round 1

Allahabad University Cutoff 2018 Round 2 for BSc programme

this was the cut off for the previous year so this year the cut off will follow amost similar trend so if you dont get a college in 1st round you definately get it in the 2nd round.but you will defnately get in in the first round

As you have stated that you have got 74 rank in APPGECET 2019 and you want EEE as your preferred option.  I would like to tell you that as your rank is quite good , you can get your choice that is EEE in any of the two college Andhra University or JNTUK. Although specific cut off ranks for Mtech in Machine Design from Andhra University is not known you have a very high chance of getting admission in Mtech Mechanical Engineering at Andhra University.
