ADMISSION

• BE/ B.Tech and B.Arch admission are subject to candidates merit in Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission ( TNEA ) process which includes choice locking and final seal allotment.
• NATA qualified candidates are also eligible to apply for B.Arch program.
• Candidates have to qualify in Anna University Common Entrance Test to secure admission to ME/ M.Tech/ M.Arch/ M.Plan/ MBA and MCA courses. Final admission is subject to Tamil Nadu Common Admission (TANCA) counselling process.
• Students seeking admission to ME/ M.Tech courses on the basis of GATE score are also eligible. Such candidates need not appear in TANCET.

Application forms for BE/B.Tech/M.Sc (Integrated) for NRI/FN/CIWGC are now available on Official Website. Candidates can register till June 7, 2019. TNEA Application forms will be available till May 31, 2019.

The basic eligibility criteria for both the courses is that one needs to have passed HSC Examination or equivalent from any recognized education board.  Admission to both the courses are made through entrance test. There are separate entrance tests for the courses.

For participation in Anna University Counselling procedure through TNEA portal , first make sure to read all concerned rules and regulations and have a good internet connection. It is possible that the counselling process for Ex Serviceman category reservation would begin from the 26th of June. Also keep checking the portal at 2 to 4 hour intervals. Hope this answer helps!
