According to the previous year cutoff your chances of getting a seat for ECE at Loyola ICAM is not much. But you may get a seat in the college Erode Sengunthar Engineering College, Erode for ECE. As the cutoff till the last round was near about 63k. So this year also the cutoff will not vary much and you will have a chance. Hey Tharun! You can definitely do that Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE) will start TNEA choice filling 2019 from July 3 onwards along with the counselling. Candidates who have applied for Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) 2019 will be eligible to appear for the TNEA counselling process. Students have to login using their TNEA 2019 application number and password for filling the choices.

So you can login to your id and fill up the choices, i think the fees for tnea for general category student is ₹ 5000 and for other categories it is ₹1000 which you have to pay to complete your registration.

ADMISSION

Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions ( TNEA ) is conducted by Anna University. The application form for which can be filled in both online and offline mode. Application fee can be paid online or via DD or cash.

• Candidates who have passed class 12 th from Tamil Nadu are eligible for TNEA.
• Applicants belonging to Tamil Nadu only will be considered for admission. However, children of central Government employees not domiciled in Tamil Nadu have to provide a valid certificate of their parents who have been serving continuously for more than five years at the time of submission of application.

It is hard to get the seat in that college cause from the previous trends cutoff which is around 900 rank in case branch. And you have 1198 rank which cannot satisfy it basically. But you have to try for it maybe you got it by any luck. So, try for it maybe you got it. But if you choose other branch then cse then you can get it.

Hey Ganesh, with 3977 rank in TNEA, you had a very good chance to get admission in Anna university, guindy to study Mechanical engineering. As the cutoff for this college is quite high, but closes around 9000 . So you have a decent chance to get a seat there in mechanical branch.
