Anna University Counselling Procedure will include registration, document verification, fee payment, seat allotment etc. After fee payment, candidates will have to bring original document for verification. First of all you should decide in which field you are most interested in either EC or production Engineering. As EC deals with electronic and there is need for coding in this. EC branch has a large scope in future you can crack a good placement in Computer Science company also if you work hard on communication and coding skills. EC also offer government jobs . It's placement is very good it is ranked after Cs ,It branches.

While in production Engineering you learn manufacturing and management skills . It is also a good branch but there are not so many companies like in EC . So I would recommend you to take Ece in Anna University or if you are interested in management and machine you can take up production Engineering. It is also a matter of fact. But if you are not interested in that course then what is the use of studying that course. You should get the course what you like or else go for another college. If you can study any course that's your wish. You should have vision on your career so that you can gain good carrer.

There is always a window for the application form correction in all of the universities or colleges you apply. You have to make corrections in that window only. During counselling merely your documents are verified and you can't make changes later on. But as you have by mistake filled the wrong gender, you may contact the concerned authorities and after verifying your documents they may help.

see college of engineering , guindy and madras institute of technology both of the institute is excellent in terms of placement, infrastructure, college curriculum excellent extra curricular activities etc. however the syllabus is quite same in both of the institute. so whichever the institute you may go you would get excellent exposure to study .
