According to your percentile score in TANCET, it is very low for admission to ME/M.Tech through Anna University. Cut-offs are different for different institutions and it also depends upon various factors so it is bound to change every year. You can try for some other low tier colleges for ME/M.Tech accepting TANCET score.

Out of all the universities you listed, Thapar University comes at the top. Both VIT and Anna come right after in terms of faculty, research impact and placements. Again, however, VIT is much more global and diverse, and has a richer competition among students than Anna University. Hope this helps

Anna University and its affiliated colleges offer full-time BE/ B.Tech and B.Arch courses in various disciplines at UG level.

* 10 + 2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics are the minimum eligibility criteria for admission.

* For BE/ B.Tech admission, the candidates will be shortlisted based on marks in 10+2 followed by TNEA counseling.

* Shortlisting of candidates in TNEA counseling is done based on aggregate cut-off of physics, chemistry, and mathematics. Higher your cut-off higher will be your rank.

Anna University 2020 Counselling will be started in the month of July 2020 . The University will conduct different entrance examination to offer admission in UG & PG courses. Admission will be offered to candidates in M.Tech, MBA, M.Plan Integrated, and etc. courses. The admission into UG Engineering courses will be through TNEA and into PG courses will be through TANCET. The seats to all qualified candidates will be given on the basis of merit list. Candidates will have to select seats from the available seats as per their rank. Candidates are advised to report to the allotted institution before the due date. Candidates will be able to submit atleast three choices of colleges.

Candidates will also have to submit the fee in the counselling session. The fee will vary as per the category.After the fee payment, candidates will be able to download counselling call letter.  It will be mandatory to bring call letter at the time of admission.

On the basis of counselling call letter, candidates will have to participate in the counselling. After that authority will proceed for admission procedure. Admission will be given after the verification of documents & fee submission.

Anna University 2020 Counselling will be held in online mode. Students can check complete details of counselling from dates to complete procedure. Students are advised to completely follow the counselling process in order to get admission successfully. All the documents must be verified to become eligible for admission.

As TANEA counselling dates has not been announced so there will be delay in the admissions. Earlier registration was going to start from first week of May but now no notice is there.

As Tancet is the exam conducted for getting seat for good college for MBA/mtech/M.arch/MCA and you scored 98.511percentile of marks means 58 marks in the tancet  and you can get seat in good colleges for mca and you applied for late i think to you may not get seat for the state quota in tamilnadu in the Anna university there are very less chances to get let us hope for the best to get seat in state quota as being a open category you don't even have any chances also for getting scholarships and scholarships are given accordingly to your marks
