There is specialized faculty for every subject. Most of them have a Ph.D. or a minimum of a Master's in the subject they teach. The faculty is very much interested in helping students who are actually interested. Motivating and keen on students going into the research side and developing things rather than simply looking for jobs. The structure consists of a total of 100 marks per subject in a semester. The first sessional is 20 marks, the second sessional is 20 marks, and again, 5 assignment tests (2 marks each) for 10 marks. The semester examination is of 50 marks. Faculty members are somewhat fine depending on your branch. Teachers in the CSE department are somewhat good. I don't know about other departments. Course curriculum now is pretty good initially when I was in the first year it was not that good but in the second year, students started teaching important things.
