Hostels are much better compared to other colleges, with the infrastructure and the kind of facilities provided. There are enough rooms to fit in all the students, plus all options all available, like single (AC/non-AC) and double (AC/non-AC). The mess food is good in terms of hygiene, but for obvious reasons, it becomes boring if you eat there every day.
There is specialized faculty for every subject. Most of them have a Ph.D. or a minimum of a Master's in the subject they teach. The faculty is very much interested in helping students who are actually interested. Motivating and keen on students going into the research side and developing things rather than simply looking for jobs. The structure consists of a total of 100 marks per subject in a semester. The first sessional is 20 marks, the second sessional is 20 marks, and again, 5 assignment tests (2 marks each) for 10 marks. The semester examination is of 50 marks. This is the structure for every theory subject in all semesters. Th
Percentage of the students who were placed in our course was 55%. Highest package was 13 LPA, average package was 7.5 LPA, and lowest package was 4 LPA. Many reputed and big companies reached our college campus for recruitment.
Its fine mess is ood rooms are good but Wi-Fi is *** as said before the life in manipal kind luxury u get good rooms the courts for badminton and basketball over here is also good mess is pretty good there are major 4 messes and people can also buy food from there all campus is pretty beautiful u also got many places nearby to explore
Faculty members are somewhat fine depending on your branch. Teachers in the CSE department are somewhat good. I don't know about other departments. Course curriculum now is pretty good initially when I was in the first year it was not that good but in the second year, students started teaching important things.
My batch has 250 students. Top companies visit are Goldman Sachs and Microsoft but very few are selected even for internships. I do not have any idea about the lowest but the highest don't cross more than 30 LPA median somewhere lies about 10 LPA a very small percentage around 10% or 20% of students got internships.
The cse department at MIT Manipal features well-equipped labs for signal processing, and communication, along with Wi-Fi-enabled smart classrooms and access to a central library housing a vast collection of technical resources. The hostels are clean and secure, offering options for both AC and non-AC rooms, regular cleaning, and laundry services. The mess food is decent, with multiple vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, and there are various canteens and food courts across the campus. Medical facilities at Kasturba Hospital are excellent, and the campus boasts strong sports infrastructure, including courts for basketball, badminton, tennis, football, and a fully equipped gym
The faculty cse in the department at MIT Manipal is well-qualified, with many members holding PhDs and possessing strong research or industry experience. Most professors are helpful and approachable, and the teaching quality is generally good, particularly in core subjects. The curriculum is regularly updated to include industry-relevant topics such as IoT, VI, and machine learning, making it quite suitable for both higher studies and jobs. Semester exams are moderately challenging, with a good balance between theory and application-based questions. The pass percentage is high—usually above 90%—as long as students attend classes and remain consistent.
For our senior batch (2025), approximately 85-90% of students secured placements. The highest package offered was rupees 30 LPA (primarily for software roles), while the average was about rupees 7-8 LPA, and the lowest was around rupees 3.5 LPA. Top recruiters included Microsoft, Cisco, Qualcomm, Deloitte, TCS Digital, and Micron, with companies providing both core and IT roles. About 70-75% of students also obtained internships at firms such as Intel, NXP, Deloitte, and Tonbo Imaging. The primary roles offered ranged from software developer and data analyst to Embedded Systems Engineer and VLSI Design Engineer.
The computers in the lab doesn't work properly and there aren't enough chairs to accommodate the students, often students have to stand and work. Hostel net is very slow, students have to use their own mobile data or purchase wifi from their pocket money. The food is terrible! As a student of this college and of my personal experience i can say this 100% food is the worst. I found out insects in the food often, i complained several times too and not only me but everyone but they didn't take any action. Many students got hospitalized too, but still the faculty don't care about student's well-being. My health got worsened after coming here because of the food.
I'm studying BTech in computer science and engineering. I was always a tech enthusiast, so i took this stream. I was told the teaching here is good but when i joined and after living here for 3 years, i can say that the teaching is not good. Some faculties are there who teach sincerely and very well but those are very few. CSE faculties are less in number and don't teach well at all. They have introduced trending technology domains but the faculty assigned don't have knowledge on it. Teaching is average!
I was told placements are good here so i joined this college but unfortunately i was highly disappointed after knowing the truth. For btech, placement is worst. I have not seen anyone getting placed with good package here. In the past three years i have not seen any good company hiring here with good package. We have to try for off-campus but on-campus it's not what we expected. I am highly worried about my placements here. College is not at all supportive. Even if you place your concerns they don't address them. It's all in the first few months of joining, but then you will see the reality of the people here.
For BTech CSE, course fee was 1 lakh 6 thousand for my batch but now it's been increased. Honestly speaking, the money our parents invest here is not at all worth it. I feel all my parent's hard work have gone wasted, the investment in this college has been the bad decision. No one here is supportive, they don't care about student's needs, their well-being. You will feel living in hell literally after few months of staying.
Campus life i good i can say, different events are hosted on different occasions. We have different clubs, for different activities. Student's interaction is good here, first when i joined, there was ragging going on in the college, but now it's been stopped and taken care for. When it comes to support of teachers and staff, it's horrible! As i mentioned earlier too, your needs will not get addressed here. Even if you go through worse no one will take care of you. Honestly, i have faced it lot's of times and thought of dropping out too. The college is placed between mountains, so scenery and atmosphere is ok but it's quite literally hot here during summer's. There aren't much places to roam around too. You don't much facilities here and coming to safety, i would tell from my experience don't join here, i felt unsafe quite a times, when i addressed it to faculty too they didn't respond.
It was a worst experience of my life! I regret joining here. I had no option so i joined here, but i would really suggest please don't join here, and consider other good colleges. I don't want anyone to face the situations i have been through. This was my honest review for everyone to help you choose the best path.
in my college there is all necessary infrastructure like lab , classrooms , washrooms , waiting area etc. in every classroom there is smartboard and all needy equipment . the living space regulary cleaned by staff .
cruently i am persuing my btech in civilengineering .the quality of teaching is good . yes the curriculm is updated every year and every semester. the academic curricilum is so well which can make you job ready.
in my college there is 100% job placement . all students got there job from here .the highest package they got is 120000 per annum. the average salary for Btech student is 240000 lac per annum. the placement process is moderate.
my course name is Btech civil engineering . the fees of my course per year with hostel is 185000 rs. yes , my money is worth because the quality of academic good enough to make yourself industry ready.
campus life is so joyful if you had friends . after academic time students go to sports, clubs and participate there . the teachers are very polite and supportive . the collage environment is very happy and energetic.
the only things i dont like is so much restriction on hostel students .
projector is available, smart board is not their, laboratories all equipment is their, libraries is have both AC non AC with various authors agriculture books hostel is average have both option of south Indian north Indian food available WIFI also available various club is their you can join. hygienic food and hostel is their
I am graduated from B.sc Agriculture from their young faculties teach their so interaction with them friendly with professional manner Some of them retired professors from OUAT so you gain some informatic knowledge during practical time
Placement is good but its depends on you how you perform in class and how prepare for your interview Agricultural ,Finance company comes their Companies like TATA RELAIS,TVS FINACE, PAN SEED comes their during my graduate time
Good infrastructure.. They are having a good cricket playground at the starting of the college.. And basketball and Volleyball court also there for a good carrier growth in sports. Apart from that buildings also perfect.
College is having well equipped with machines for a mechanical engineering students. So students can gain lot of practical knowledge with real time experience.also teacher staffs are supportive and we'll qualified
No placements ..for a mechanical engineering students can get lot of knowledge but can't get a good placements over there. Still some of my batchmates got placed in a good companies like trivani turbines
For gaining knowledge it's value of money.. During my time the fee was 80k.. And the syllabus also different from other colleges which is giving more practical exposure towards machines.................
Good... Campus.. All hostels are inside the campus.. Both girl and boys hostel.. Hostel food also good.. They will provide 3 times non-veg per week and in special request they will provide biriyani for all students
Good.. Value of money.. Do not expect any placements but knowledge wise it's good.. Yes lectures also well qualified to explain real time exposures... But only concern is placements.. After 7th sem hardly you will get any placements
Dear Aspirant,
Centurion University offers a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Mechatronics and Additive Manufacturing, which is a forward-looking program designed to combine the core principles of mechanical engineering with modern technologies like robotics, automation, and 3D printing. This course is not a standalone Mechatronics degree but effectively integrates key elements of mechatronics including electronics, control systems, embedded programming, and sensor technology into the traditional mechanical engineering curriculum.
