Academics
The academics are good and the teaching staff is supportive and knowledgeable. The curriculum provides a good balance between theoretical concepts and practical learning. Regular lectures, laboratory sessions and assignments help students understand the subjects better. The course provides a strong technical foundation, although students also need to develop additional skills through self-learning, projects and internships to become fully industry-ready.
College Infra
The college has good infrastructure with well-maintained classrooms, laboratories, library and other facilities. The laboratories have the equipment required for practical learning. The campus environment is comfortable and suitable for academics as well as extracurricular activities. Overall, the infrastructure is good, although there is still scope for further improvement and modernization of some facilities.

Placements
The college provides good placement opportunities through campus recruitment drives and supports students during the placement process. Students get opportunities to participate in aptitude tests, technical interviews and HR rounds. The placement scenario depends on the branch, skills and performance of individual students. Overall, the placement support is good, but students should also focus on technical skills, communication, projects and internships for better opportunities.
Value For Money
Overall, the college provides good value for money considering the academic environment, infrastructure, laboratory facilities, faculty support and placement opportunities. Students get opportunities to improve their technical knowledge and participate in various activities. The experience can be made even better with further improvement in facilities and industry exposure. Overall, I feel the college provides a good platform for students to build their career.

B.Tech Civil Engineering - Batch of 2026-01-01
Academics
The curriculum has changed for the freshers compared to the final years. We believe that it has become more focused with respect to the core departments and has improved. We wish it was like that from our first year but can't complain.
College Infra
Very old yet renovating department by department slowly. Classrooms are being developed and equipped with air conditioning, and machines in laboratories are good and efficient enough. The campus is becoming more environmentally friendly, and the library is really good compared to the old one.
Campus Life
Campus life is really good, the college has many clubs and are involved in so many competitions, character development activities, and so much more. Festivals are also well known, especially Regatta.
Placements
COEP has always been known for top-notch placements, especially for CS departments. but not for other departments. Yet this year, civil students have been placed in really good companies with good packages.
Value For Money
As far as the college is really great, the fees could be a great concern for the majority of the students coming from various states of India, as the annual fees have increased almost 500 times compared to the last 4 years.
