The Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University ( PDPU ) and Dhirubai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology both are state universities offering Engineering courses. Both the universities are ranked " A ' by the NAAC.

When we go for rankings then the PDPU is ranked 32nd in best Universities, whereas the DAIICT lacks in ranking.

As per the reviews of students and experts, DAIICT has more positive ratings than the PDPU. The faculty, facility and other services like accommodation, environment is better in DAIICT than the PDPU.

In PDPU, various well renowned companies like ESSAR, Yes Bank, GAIL India Ltd., INFOSYS, Reliance Industries Ltd., ICICI Bank, Indian Oil, L & T, GSPC, Mahindra, etc. visit the campus for recruitments.

The sports complex of the DAIICT has:

1. For Indoor games: 3 badminton courts, 4 table tennis tables, caroms , chess are also available

2. For outdoor games: 3 basket ball courts, 2 volley ball courts, 1 football court and also a cricket ground

Daiict enrolls student through ACPC. Student having a score of 180 marks or 14000 rank has a chance of getting shortlisted. Also, it doesn't take student on the basis of mains. They do have a special scholarship for student having rank Below 5000. In case of ACPC, one should have a minimum of 94% around in board and a good score in GUJCET.

Dhurubhai ambani institute of information and communication technology is one of the best colleges of Gujarat . According to percentiles mentioned by you your rank will be 78210.

But your rank can vary if the no of candidates in April session changes to 120000 then your rank will change.

At this rank to get this college is quite difficult as you should have marks above 160+ in Jee mains to get this college.

As per the previous year records admission in dheerubhai ambani college is done on the basis of JEE mains score if you have rank approximately under 15k, that means you can have admission with atmost 15k rank I am not considering any branch it is after considering all branch and considering general category.
Now your expected rank would be:66,132.
Which is calculated by the formula given below:
(100-your total percentile score)*869010/100.
Here 86 9010 is the number of candidate appeared for the January session of exam.
so it is clear that you have very degraded chances of having admission in dheeru Bhai ambani college with your mentioned percentile in JEE mains.
So I will suggest you to reappear for the exam in the April session and do better in it.

If you want to get admission in DAIICT (Dhirubhai Ambani Institute of Information and Communication Technology) your score in GUJCET should be least 105 and above.That will ensure a 99 percentile in GUJCET and at same time you must also have a boards score of 85%.

Daiict is a better choice then iiit at the moment, mostly because daiict is more established then iiit Vadodara at the moment as it is a fairly new institute. It has good campus facilities, faculties and handsome placements,however the brandname of iiit is much known

You have not mentioned the category you belong to and the branch you are willing to practice out.
