Swayam is a programme started by the Ministry of Human Resource Development to provide education to the under-privileged students who do not have enough resources and means for education. It provides the courses free of cost to ensure it is available to all.
This course has two instructors, Sikha Ahmad, who is an academician in Department of Economics, Doon University at Dehradun and Ishteyaaq Ahmad, who is an academician in Department of Computer Application, Uttaranchal Institute of Management at Dehradun.
Participants have to appear and pass in their internal assessment of 30 marks and proctored examination of 70 marks. In order to pass, they have to secure 40 percent in each evaluation and an overall 40 percentage.
The Mathematical Economics course by Swayam offers a total of 4 course credits.
Participants have to appear for their proctored exam at the designated centres on the dates which shall be informed about to the participants.
