As  you are aware that this year JEE MAINS is going to be of 300 marks . So by considering previous year cutoff for COMPUTER SCIENCE at HBTI Kanpur one must score at least a score of 155 marks for being in the safe side.

HBTI is one of the top colleges in Uttar Pradesh for pursuing higher technical education. 2-3 year back the admission were on the basis on UPTU(UPSEE) rankings, but now they accept admission only on the basis of JEE main ranking.

For your kind information since when HBTU became a university it doesn't take admission on the basis of AKTU score. AKTU was formally known as UPTU.

Now you can get admission into HBTU on the basis of JEE mains examination.

Since it is a very good University now so you have to score a good rank in JEE mains also . Something around 20k will help you.

Dear Aspirant first of all Congratulating you on your nice performance and I would like to tell you that based on your rank in general category and ews category of jee main it would be very difficult for you to get a seat in HBTU kanpur however if you could not get a seat in normal round counselling then I would suggest you to must participate in spot round counselling conducted at the end by hbtu.

Hi aspirant, first of all HBTI Kanpur is one of the better college in UP so it's always a great option. Now, about food technology there- the placements is not that great as compared to Plastic technology. But if you want to pursue mba especially in agribusiness (ABM) in future then it's always a little advantage to choose food technology now. Highest package was around 6lpa
