HBTU has lush green campus with all the necessary facilities available in our University. Almost all the class rooms, laboratories and library were AC. Four to five or more than that fans were available in classrooms. And each classroom had one smart one black and one white board fixed. We had big ground in west campus for all the sports. Library was amazing. I was day scholar so don't know much about hostel facilities. One thing which we used to dislike about our college was unclean toilets.
I am MBA(2021-2023) passout. Mine was the first batch of MBA in hbtu. So accordingly every thing was good. Teachers were very cooperative. They use to explain things in a very simplified manner. I also got internship from college in JK Tyres. The curriculum was updated and relevant. But at the end the things you study in college are very different from what you learn in corporate world. College will just give you the basic understanding of things in corporate you'll get the practical experience.
Overall the HBTU Placement is very good. But as I mentioned mine was the first batch and due to certain issues my entire class did not got Placement from college. But now MBA has been merged with step-Hbti and I got to know from my juniors that they are getting amazing opportunities for Internships and jobs.
As HBTU is government university it didn't costed so huge amout the cost per year was Rs 1,20,000. I feel it was worth it. Because MBA in other colleges is very costly.
Campus life was amazing. The best place to hangout with friends was college canteen. I miss the samosas of our canteen they were the best.
I got various good and bad memories from HBTU. But overall I loved being part of such an prestigious university. Thank you HBTU

Good curriculum recent developments included, teachers have great knowledge and imparts through various live examples which is really great and also we got great summmer camps opportunity as well as internship
Needs improvement Many companies prefer but we can attract more and get more opportunities, salary package offered was upto 24L but only few got so rest students got average package and were less satisfied
Worth
Chill and so lovely
Had a grt time
As a part of prestigious Institute building is old but well maintained. Facilities like gym, sports field etc., Academic and hostels building are lace with wifi and necessary equipments. Living and classes are clean.
Plus point is this they provide MBA degree not diploma, Mba program is up to date which makes you ready for the challenges. MBA curriculum provides all the business exposure. First time MBA comes under HBTU, I think they will do good.
Eight percent of the students are placed. The average salary offered is 4 lac per annum and minimum salary offered in 3 lac per annum Highest is depends on the students. College will do good just like btech.
The infrastructure and atmosphere is beautiful with green spaces. The building is good. Computer labs struggle with internet, and library is fully updated. Canteen facilities and hostel facilities are available in HBTU.
My experience at hbtu has been quite positive. I really enjoyed the lecture and interactive session. The teachers of hbtu were supportive and passionate about teaching. Teachers made the curriculum easy for me.
The placement quality is very good in hbtu . They also provide us internship or any job opportunities with big companies. Student get Hight opportunities. Many company came hired the students in our campus
It's valuable.
My experience is great in hbtu
The college does have a good infrastructure. The facilities provided are average and below average. The labs in departments are not updated. The cleanliness is somewhat ok. You may find most of the facilities here but not the quality you may expect.
The mba programme is highly disturbed here. Everything is just mismanaged. The merger with the STEP-HBTI resulted in god knows what benefits for the college. Hardly any benefit has been derived so far. The college still does not have a proper facility to run the course. They are just playing with the life of the students
I do not expect any placement opportunities from the college. The college which is not able to provide internship even to it's students , how can anyone even think of placements from here. They will just ruin the future of the students if nothing improves on future.
The MBA program does costs high as compared to other courses, but the facilities offered do not justify the price paid. You won't ever feel that the price you pay to pursue the course is justified. Don't expect any quality for the teaching staff. They are just there to get their salaries.
If you don't want to waste time in class , then you can easily spend ample of time in the campus. Don't expect any kind of support from the staff members untill and unless you have any source, it'll be a waste of time if you approach them to solve any problem.
One of the best colleges in UP. Compares with NIT Allahabad in quality. Very beautiful campus and you get single rooms in 3rd and final year. The college carries a legacy of completing 100 years, having being established in 1921.
The college has very learned professors in all departments. Every department has established labs, promoting practical learning. After 3rd year you have to go for a compulsory industrial training, giving you the knowledge about the industry.
One of the best ROI colleges in the country, with people getting placed within 1 month. The specialisation like Paint, plastic, oil technology too have outstanding placements. Great opportunity for students.
The infrastructure of the college well and good there is an available central library and sports center indoor and outdoor facilities there is classes are equipped with the latest equipment the campus is well and good.
Studying the subject of interest for job readiness Teaching quality varies unsure about curriculum updates and recent field development hopeful for practical skills acquisition teaching quality curriculum relevance.
Placement quality at my college has been commendable. A significant percentage of students secured placements reflecting the institution's dedication to the highest salary package directed towards a specific course was impressive
Classrooms are clean and well maintained some classes have smart boards some not .Library closes soon it is a problem in library .Yes living spaces are clean there are sports centre in college but not well maintained
I am pursuing my B.Tech in Information Technology because this field has good scope of career and a lot fields to learn and discover . Curriculum is not updated it is old they teach us economics and constitution and so many subjects of no use.
Placements are good than any private college . At least 70-80% students were placed and the heighest package was of 63 lakhs.average salary offered in around 7-8 lakhRs . I don't know about placement process in deep
Dear
According to the information with a JEE Mains rank of 98,300 in the general category, getting admission to NITs, IIITs, or HBTI might be challenging as these institutes have higher cutoffs. However, you still have some options:
Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU) : You have a good chance of getting admission to various branches here.
Harcourt Butler Technical University (HBTI) : This university also offers several engineering branches, and your rank might be competitive for admission.
Thapar University : While it's a reputed institution, your rank might be on the lower side for top branches. However, you can still try for less competitive branches.
It's always a good idea to check the latest cutoff trends and contact the admission offices of these universities for the most accurate information.

Hi
hope you doing well
You have a good chance of getting CSE with 93.34 percentile in JEE Mains 2024 and OBC-NCL category from Uttar Pradesh at HBTU (Harcourt Butler Technical University), Kanpur through AKTU/UPTU counseling.
So, your CRL (Common Rank List) rank is around 61,800 .
Generally, the OBC rank is around 25-30% of the CRL rank.
Estimated OBC-NCL rank = 15,000 - 18,500.
If CSE seems tight, you can still get some excellent branches like:
Best Wishes.
Hello Aditya,
The CSE cut off in computer science in HBTU was 22184 for the other state quota and for the Uttar Pradesh domicile quota, it was also the same. So you should get around 98 percentile in order to get the cse branch in this college.
However the cut off may vary due to certain factors such as number of candidates appearing in the examination, previous year cutoffs and difficulty level of the examination and the number of seats available in the college.
