The Fundamentals of Power Electronics by Swayam course introduces the applicants to the basics of power electronic devices and converters and also makes the students aware of its application. The course over a period of twelve weeks will cover the topics- operating modes, working principles, and analysis of AC-DC and DC-DC converters. The applicants will further be introduced to the key principles of the DC-AC inverter.
This Fundamentals of Power Electronics programme uses SPICE simulation methods as a means for understanding and gaining more details into the concepts of circuits. The faculty members in detail will explain the control mechanisms of power electronics.
