Course Overview
The Fundamentals of Power Electronics by Swayam course introduces the applicants to the basics of power electronic devices and converters and also makes the students aware of its application. The course over a period of twelve weeks will cover the topics- operating modes, working principles, and analysis of AC-DC and DC-DC converters. The applicants will further be introduced to the key principles of the DC-AC inverter.
This Fundamentals of Power Electronics programme uses SPICE simulation methods as a means for understanding and gaining more details into the concepts of circuits. The faculty members in detail will explain the control mechanisms of power electronics.

Eligibility Criteria
Education
For registering in the Fundamentals of Power Electronics training the students will need to have knowledge in the sector of -network theory, electronics circuits, electrical circuits, and the fundamentals of semiconductor physics.
Certification Qualification Details
To avail of the Fundamentals of Power Electronics certification, it is compulsory for students to pay a fee for appearing for end term proctored examination. In this exam, the candidates must attain a 25% average in 8 out of 12 assignments. Also, they should score 75% marks minimum in the final exam to get the passing certificate in the Fundamentals of Power Electronics programme.
