Fee structure of IITs is Rs.2 lakh per annum. Additional charges can be different from IITs to IITs.

Additional charges are like examination fees, Registration fees, Gymkhana Fee, Medical Fee and Student Benevolent Fund.

Below are the hostel charges for IIT Indore

Accomadation charges (Per Semester)

Rent- 7,000

Electricity and Water Charges- 2,000

Facility Charges- 2,000

-The most economically backward students (whose family income is less then Rs. 1 lakh per annum) shall get full remission of the tuition fee after registration.

-The other economically backward students (whose family income is between Rs. 1 lakh to Rs. 5 lakh per annum) shall get full remission of 2/3rd of the tuition fee after registration.

-Student belonging to SC, ST and PwD categories are exempted from payment of tuition fee of the respective programme.

-All students shall have access to interest free loan under the ‘Vidya Lakshmi Scheme for the total portion of the tuition fee payable.

JEE Advanced maximum are not defined

Maximum Marks vary every year like below:

2017- 366

2016- 372

2015 - 504

2014 - 360

So, it is difficult to predict marks as exam pattern and marks change every year but you should score more than 50% marks to get good branch in Top IITs
