Indian Institute of Technology, Indore offers a host of facilities to its staff and students for their convenience. These amenities are essential in a student’s college life. IIT Indore has a dedicated health centre that offers daycare, emergency care, outpatient and trauma care services to the college community. It provides important medical assistance to students, institute guests, employees and their dependents, etc. The health centre has ambulances and a team of nurses and doctors.
The library at IITI has a huge collection of 35,583+ books at present. There are over 575 theses and dissertations at the library. The IIT Indore library also provides Hindi and English print newspapers to the readers daily. Also, the users can access more than 2,540 e-journals, 7,600+ e-books along with 11 bibliographic databases like MathSciNet, SciFinder Scholar, etc.
The college has excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.
There are seven different eateries at the IIT Indore campus. They include cafes, restaurants, dining facilities, etc. which offer multiple dishes, drinks, beverages, desserts and more.
The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminar.
IIT Indore currently boasts of about 370 registered alumni, including both former undergraduate and graduate students. IIT Indore has one of the best infra in IITs. Its hostel facilities are above the marks. 6BHK + 2 toilets + 2 bathroom type unit system, makes best place for residence for students. The PODs contain all labs and depts. The Library building and Administrative building also have unique architecture. It has state of the art, lecture halls, seminar halls and auditorium of 2000 capacity.
IIT Indore got modern labs, NMR spectrometer, and X-ray diffractometer for research. Campus is big, 501 acres, with good hostels and health centre. Some construction still going on, but facilities is top-notch for Ph.D. work. Wi-Fi and library is great too.
IIT Indore is one of the newer IITs but it has made a name for itself quite quickly. The infrastructure is modern and well-maintained. The classrooms are equipped with smart boards, good seating, and proper ventilation. The hostels are clean, with spacious rooms, high-speed Wi-Fi.
