24 MonthsMaster of Computer Application is a full-time two-year (four semesters) program offered by Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women, Delhi approved by AICTE.
Relaxation in marks for reserved categories:
- Other Backward Class (OBC-NCL) / Defence Category (CW): 5% relaxation of marks in the minimum eligibility requirements.
- Scheduled Castes (SC) / Scheduled Tribes (ST) / Differently Abled Persons:10% relaxation of marks in the minimum eligibility requirements
- Kashmiri Migrant (KM): 10% relaxation of marks in the minimum eligibility requirements.
Eligibility Criteria
Bachelor’s Degree of a recognized University in any discipline with at least 60% marks in aggregate and must also have passed Mathematics subject (core or elective or functional) at 10+2 level of the CBSE or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto.
BCA/BIT/BIS of a recognized University of at least three-year duration or any qualification recognized as equivalent thereto, with at least 60% marks in aggregate.
Admission Details
The admission to MCA course of IGDTUW is on the basis of rank secured in the Common Entrance Test (CET) to be conducted by IGDTUW. If the seats remain vacant, applicants having valid NIMCET rank shall be considered in the Spot Round subject to meeting the eligibility criteria.

The infrastructure is good and adequate for academic purposes. libraries with adequate stock, which also offer a quiet area for research and study. The laboratories are well-equipped with necessary equipment and software for practical learning. Yet, hostel food is not commensurate with the fee charged, and the majority of students are unhappy with the canteen facilities, which require an improvement in hygiene as well as variety of food.

IGDTUW has well-equipped classrooms and labs with smart-class facilities and air conditioning in the newer ones, fostering a contemporary learning atmosphere. However, there's a need for improvements in the older classrooms. The college offers two hostels, maintaining impeccable cleanliness and hygiene standards. While the canteens are relatively small, they serve hygienic food, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for students.
