IGDTUW Delhi Facilities

Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women facilities are provided to the students and staff. IGDTUW Delhi facilities include hostels for girls, a library, sports facilities, and many more. IGDTUW Delhi provides hostel facilities for girls with all the basic amenities. The university library has a huge collection of books and e-resources to help students with their studies.

Sports facilities are also part of the IGDTUW Delhi campus facilities. A health center is present on campus to cater to the medical needs of the students. Other facilities provided by the university are IT infrastructure, laboratories, etc. Details of IGDTUW facilities are given below.

Girls Hostel
2 hostels are provided to the girls also by the university. A safe, secure and clean environment is provided by both the hostels. Twin or triple sharing rooms are available in the hostels. Other facilities present in the hostels are purified drinking water, housekeeping services, wi-fi facility, playground for games like basketball, badminton and many other facilities.
Medical/Hospital
There is a health centre that caters to all the medical needs of the students, faculty and staff of the university. There is also a dispensary located on campus. One registered medical practitioner along with one registered nurse is available from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Banks/ATMs
A branch of Punjab and Sind Bank is present on campus with ATM facility.
Library
IGDTUW Delhi facilities include a library known as the Learning Resource Center (LRC). The library has many books, journals, etc. There is also a dedicated digital section of the library and it includes e-materials like CDs, DVDs and digital thesis of final year students.
Guest Room/Waiting Room
Guest room facilities are available on campus for the faculty and relative of students.
I.T Infrastructure
The university has the latest and modern IT infrastructure facilities. The university has a centralised computing facility and it is housed in the ‘Computer Center’.
Sports
Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women Delhi provides both indoor and outdoor sports facilities to the students. Ground and field for badminton, basketball, table tennis, etc are available in the university.
Auditorium
The university auditorium is used by the students and faculty to conduct various activities and functions.
Laboratories
IGDTUW Delhi has well-equipped departmental laboratories for the students of the university.

College Infrastructure

The college has extremely good infrastructure facilities and equipments for the students and it is fairly well developed and meets most of the essential requirements of the students. The campus is spacious and well spaced.

College Infrastructure

The college has adequate infrastructure with clean classrooms, basic laboratory facilities, a library with essential study material, and Wi-Fi access. Facilities are properly used, well-maintained, and the environment is clean and hygienic.

College Infrastructure

It’s definitely not a huge, sprawling university; it’s right in the middle of Delhi, which is both cool and cramped. The campus has that old, historical building vibe, but they stuck modern labs inside. The Wi-Fi is generally decent, which is the most important thing, right? The library is the only place you can find peace. Some of the lecture rooms are a little worn out, and the hostels are super strict (curfews and all that old-school stuff)

Yes! You can be eligible for admission at igdtuw but the key thing is that your board percentage alone doesn’t directly decide admission — your JEE Main rank and participation in JAC Delhi counselling matter most. Igdtuw does not give direct admission just based on 12th marks; it uses JEE-Main
