48 MonthsComputer Science focuses on the science of computing. But computing is now a powerful engineering tool for problem-solving in a variety of domains. It is therefore desirable to have a CSE program, which, besides developing the computing sciences foundations, also develops in students the engineering skills for problem-solving using computing sciences. The program at IIIT-Delhi “inverts the pyramid” and start with computing oriented courses first, and then provides flexibility for taking a variety of courses later. This empowers the students earlier to explore newer applications of computing and apply computing techniques in different domains.

Eligibility Criteria
70% marks in aggregate for five subjects (including Physics, Chemistry and Maths) and 70% in Maths in class XII from CBSE board or equivalent.
Admission Details
B.Tech. Admissions to various programs of IIITD will be done through Joint Admission Counselling, JAC-Delhi, and through IIITD admission process using UCEED rank (Only for some seats in CSD) and Class XII Marks (Only for some seats in CSSS). Details regarding the number of seats, eligibility, merit list and admission process are given in B.Tech. admission brochure. Admissions for foreign nationals/PIOs/NRIs will be through DASA and directly through IIITD process - more details are available here.

The college labs are well equipped with appropriate equipment for the respective courses offered to the students. The library is also very spacious and easily accessible to the students. The sports facilities are top notch which help student to maintain there physique as well as there hobbies.

The labs are State of the Art massively funded by the biggest tech giants in the country such as TCS research. The classrooms are lively with a dedicated research and development block.
