We do not have 2019 data yet and that was the year EWS reservation has started. But in 2018 for OC Boys, the cut off ranks for JNTUA have been as follows:

Chemical Engineering: 11712

Civil Engineering: 8973

CSE: 4424

ECE: 4854

EEE: 5464

MEC: 7444

Now this is 2018 data of OC Category. Loosely based on this, with a rank of 10,000 you might get a seat in JNTU A within Chemical Engineering branch. Having said that cut offs change every year and are dependant on various factors.

With a rank of 5000 in AP ECET you might be eligible for few courses in JNTU as the cut off is different for different branches. the last year opening rank for BC-D category was approximately 3500 and there is a chance that you might get admission in JNTU.

2. B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering : 2018 Cut-off by rank =  129031
3. B.Tech. in Civil Engineering : 2018 Cut-off by rank =  130620 2019 Cut-off by rank = 130500
4. B.Tech. in Computer Science Engineering : 2019 Cut-off by rank = 69943
5. B.Tech. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering : 2018 Cut-off by rank =  96014 2019 Cut-off by rank = 82750

Colleges like JNTU and Osmania don't provide admission on the basis of JEE main examination scores. They provide admission based on your TS EAMCET scores.

However, you can get admission into CBIT as they provide admission through JEE main examination scores under b-category admission criteria.

Note- At this percentile, you're eligible to score great NITs with good branches as well.

The cut-off for the TS-EAMCET is currently not available. Here, are the steps on how to check the cut-off:

1. Open the official counselling website

2. Select the round for which the cut-off is required

3. Click on the link to download the cut-off

4. Download and take a print of it.

The cut-off for the year 2019 will help you in getting an estimate as you will be able to get an idea about the rank or score. To get the list of all the previous years cut-offs click on the link below (it will also have the 2020 cut-offs as and when they are published).

Your rank is not so good.The previous years cutoffs was a little  higher unless you are from reserved  category. Based on previous years cutoffs you have a thin chance of getting admission to both jntuh and OU.You can apply for other universities too and you should prepare once again for the gate if you wish.

Yes, You can get admission into the above mentioned institutions but not through JEE mains. These colleges don't accept JEE main score, you can get into these colleges by giving and Examination called EAMCET and getting a good rank as in these 80% of seats are reserved for locals.

They don't accept JEE main score.
