JNTUH University Facilities

Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Hyderabad provides modern and top-edge facilities to the students, staff, and faculty on campus. JNTU Hyderabad facilities include a boy’s hostel, a girl's hostel, a medical/hospital, a gym, a library, sports, an auditorium, a cafeteria, and many other facilities.

The JNTUH facilities and infrastructure ensure an immersive and value-added academic journey for all candidates, with cutting-edge features nearby. JNTU Hyderabad believes in providing a world-class educational experience to all enrolled students.

Boys Hostel
JNTUH's constituent colleges/units all have boy's hostels. The hostels are managed by their respective Principals/Directors. To look after the students, one Hostel Manager and one Deputy Warden are appointed from the teaching faculty for each College/unit. The hostels are also maintained by student representatives.
Girls Hostel
JNTUH's constituent colleges/units all have female dormitories. The hostels are managed by the respective Principal / Director. To care for the students, one Hostel Manager and one Deputy Warden are appointed from the teaching faculty for each College/unit. Gayatri Hostel, a girls' hostel, was built on the main campus in Kukatpally, Hyderabad, this year.
Medical/Hospital
Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, facilities include a medical facility for the well-being of all students. As a result, it includes a 24-hour ambulance service as well as a healthcare facility for all faculty and candidates in case of a medical emergency.
Gym
The JNTU Hyderabad provides gym facilities for students. Interested candidates can utilise it during their free time.
Library
JNTUH facilities include a massive library that spans three floors and provides plenty of material to meet the needs of postgraduate, undergraduate, and research candidates, as well as faculty members. It provides an excellent collection of e-journals, texts, databases, e-books, theses, dissertations, and standards in the form of journals, printed books, and reports. The JNTU Hyderabad library is fully automated, with all of its books barcoded using VTLS - Virtua Library Software.
Sports
The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad facilities include sports for the students such as football, basketball, cricket, volleyball, and many others. It is led by a Physical Education Professor, who is assisted by two groundsmen and assistant physical directors.
I.T Infrastructure
Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University in Hyderabad has centralised A/C computer labs. All laboratories have modular workstations, 24x7 internet access, and power backup, and are assigned to students in a 1:1 ratio.
Cafeteria
The JNTU Hyderabad facilities include a well-maintained cafeteria that provides hygienic food for the students, teaching staff and visitors on campus. The cafeteria offers food at affordable prices.
Auditorium
JNTUH has two large auditoriums that are used for workshops, university functions, conferences, convocations, lectures, and other events in order to provide a comprehensive learning experience in a comfortable setting. Students are also welcome to attend events/conferences at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University in Hyderabad. Candidates can use their laptops to connect to audio systems, LCD projectors, video conference, and receive network training.
Alumni Associations
The University has a good networking for alumni association.
Wifi
The JNTUH campus provides high-speed internet connectivity of 1 Gbps from BSDL, 20 Mbps from Southern Online, and 100 Mbps from Railtel via weird and Wi-Fi.
Guest Room/Waiting Room
The JNTUH facilities include a guest house, which has around 53 on-campus rooms, as well as three executive rooms in the ASC guest house.
Banks/ATMs
JNTU, Hyderabad, also offers banking services to its students and staff, who can visit the SBH's Andhra Bank and Extension counters on campus.

College Infrastructure

The college has good infrastructure. The classrooms are clean and spacious, with proper seating and ventilation. The library has many books and a quiet place to study. Labs are well-equipped with the necessary tools for practical work. There is Wi-Fi on campus, and computer labs are also available. The campus is green and well-maintained, with places to sit and relax. Hostels are decent, with basic facilities like clean rooms, water, and food.

College Infrastructure

It is a spacious college with good labs, library, department, medical, etc. The college provides a cricket ground, basketball, football, volleyball courts and even a separate complex for indoor games. Hostels were good and food quality was also good in both mess and canteen.

It was good experience with this college.

With a rank of 81,245 in EAMCET (assuming this is AP or TS EAMCET) under the SC category, your chances for a seat in top-tier colleges like

JNTU (Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University) or
CBIT (Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology)

are very slim for popular branches like CSE, ECE, or IT, because these institutes have very high demand and their closing ranks for SC category are usually much lower (within 40–50k or even better). However, you might still have a chance in less competitive branches like Mechanical, Civil, or Biotechnology in some of their affiliated or constituent colleges, depending on vacancies and the specific counselling round. You should also keep your options open for other good colleges where your category reservation might help secure a decent branch. Apply in multiple counselling rounds, and also check for spot admissions in private institutions — sometimes good colleges have vacancies in later rounds for specific categories.

With a rank of 3474, you have a good chance of getting a free seat (Category A/Convener quota) in ECE at JNTU Kakinada, particularly if you are from a reserved category (BC, SC, ST).

For the general category, the cut-off for ECE is typically within the 2,000-5,000 range.
