Between these two colleges you can choose the college which gives you more locality advantage. Also you can check other branches.

Hello,
Admission Process

Admission to these courses is through the Engineering, Agriculture & Medicine Common Entrance Test (EAMCET), conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, on the successful completion of the program by the students through a unified system of examination.

Eligibility Criteria

A Candidate for admission to the four-year degree course in Engineering must have passed the Intermediate examination (10+2) of the Board of Intermediate Education with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) as subjects or any other examination.

So JNTU Kankinada takes admission on the basis of score of their own exam EAMCET. It looks like the date of EAMCET has already passed.

Hello aspirant
As you are aware that J N T U H and cbit are the top colleges that come under EAMCET in in Hyderabad so you need be in the top list for securing the seat in this colleges
As you got  852 marks in your Ipe intermediate examinations so I have calculated your rank taking your caste into consideration and your rank should be around 1000 for jntu and 2000 for cbit many seats got filled up before the 1000 rank in OC category and 1200 to 1300 in BC category if ST SC ok consider it may go upto 3000 and more if you want seat in core branches it is difficult and impossible to get with this marks .
So i want to say that only 25% of  weightage is given to the ipe marks and 75% is given to the eamcet exam marks.
So  as you belong to st category it is around 10k in some of the branches in jntu and cbit .
So you have good reservation if you get below 10000 it is good enough to get a seat in these colleges.
In cbit there are many branches and you can get seat easily in non core branches even tough you get upto 8000 and in core they fill up below 6000.
Better you keep a target of 5000 that fetches ypu all the branches in jntu and cbit also.
For more details you can visit careers 360 website for all the previous years cutoff of jawaharlal nehru technological university , osmania university and chaitanya bharathi institute of science and technology.
So be wise while applying for the counselling .
Hope my answer helps you a little during the eamcet counselling.

All the best for your better future

Hello aspirant
First of all your question is big doubt to many of the jee aspirants and their parents about jntuh and jntu university.
I will try to clear your question in this answer as there is one university needed to conduct the exams for entrance into various engineering colleges jntu is the authority for conducting the exam like iit's for jee advanced. So jntuh is the main university to conduct the exam.
As you know that there are very little number of universities and every private engineering college must be affiliated to some or the other university if it is not autonomus and it should follow all the rules and regulations prescribed by the university to which it is affiliated to. In case of autonomus it should be under tge guidance of that university. In telangana most of the pvt colleges are affiliated to jntu and only one or two to the osmania university and some are autonomous under jntu.
Jntuh is also one of the college as it is also a university and offer ug courses and it's seats are also filled on basis of ts eamcet counselling only.
Jntuh is the complete authority to control all the engineering colleges and jntu college of engineering is also a part that is rated as top engineering college .
All the colleges follow the same rules of jntuh but the autonomus colleges have some 70% rules to be followed and remaining can be decided on their own.
Jntu college of engineering has intake of 60 students in cse and 60 in ece and the list goes on.
Hope you understand your query and while choosing options be wise during the counselling and there will be a confusion with codes so choose it wisely by readijg the college complete address.
Hope my answer helps you.

All the best.

Hi candidate! I prefer you to choose sastra college. Sastra college is much better than jntu in almost every aspect. The standards of sastra college is much better than jntu college.

Not only academics, but infrastructure, faculties, placement, culture, educational opportunities are good in sastra.

So I would like to say sastra is a best option.

Thanks.
